The purpose of this tournament is to kick off the yearly season with a "fun" tournament and potentially spin off a new tournament format. The point is to make everyone aware we are starting a new season and have some fun. Generally, it is open to all programs authored by a citizen of the Americas or whose author currently resides in the Americas. With fun in mind,the tournament is open to human participation (as long as they are Master level or above).
In 2008, we are trying a new tournament format - blitz. This is planned to be an annual event. Programs of all caliber are invited to enter.
