Limited to the first 165 entries.

Entry Fees: Register by Sept. 13 pay $90, Register Sept. 14 - Oct. 1 pay $100, After Oct. 1 pay $110.

Note: Up to 2 byes allowed for any round declared before round 3.
Re-entry $40 from Friday round to Saturday morning round 1, continue with best score.
Refund policy: Any withdrawal before the first round is paired (Friday Oct 13, 2023) will receive a full refund.
For playing up, the 100 point rule applies. Example: minimum rating to enter U2000 section is 1500 (1600-100)
Playing up, will make you ineligible for certain trophies. Example: 1500s playing up will be ineligible for the U1600 trophy.
Playing up, will make you ineligible for certain cash prizes. Example: 1900s playing up will not be eligible for any class prizes, but will be eligible for the section prizes.
All classes (except U900) are strict classes thus including only that 100 point range. Example: Class 2000s is for ratings 2000-2099.

First place ties in title categories (Championship, U2200, U2000, U1800, U1600, U1400, U1200, U1000, U700) will be considered co-champions.

RULES:

  1. USCF Regular rating used for section eligibility, pairings, and prizes (October rating list).
  2. Hardware:Bring your own chess sets, boards, chess clocks, pens, pencils and score sheets.

Hotel Rules

  1. Check In: 3 PM; Special Tournament Check Out: 2 PM Sunday.
  2. Free breakfast is for hotel room guests only. If you have any family or friends that want to eat at hotel that are local, the cost is $10 per person and can be paid at the front desk or hotel can add to your Master Bill.

  1. You need to know how to set your own chess clock for the tournament time controls.
