The purpose of this tournament is to provide fair competition and stimulate world wide communication between the field's researchers/scientists. Generally, it is open to all programs authored by anybody in the world.
The format is Rapid Chess (G/25+4). This is is an annual event and programs of all levels are invited to enter.
